Fanxi Sun is a videographer/video editor and photographer based in New York. She’s specialized in artwork documentation, artist portraits, and brand videos. She always starts with a conversation, because understanding people and their work is where every project begins. As a practicing artist herself, Fanxi’s equally at home discussing concepts and intentions as she is behind the camera.

In her own practice, Fanxi works with moving and still images, sound, and live performance. Her work has been exhibited and screened internationally, including at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (Virginia Beach, US), Odds & Ends Experimental Film Festival (Charlottesville, VA), Zhejiang Art Museum (Hangzhou, China), Xiamen Three Shadows Photography Art Centre (Xiamen, China), Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival (Kassel, Germany), and the Nunnery Gallery at Bow Arts (London, UK).
